I’ve got you to let me down
I guess it feels a little weird not to go back to university like everyone else this week but I did my time…4 years and my degree is now complete. Of course I miss seeing my friends all the time but I do not miss the traffic, petrol costs and extra money I spent on textbooks, food, and coffee. In the future I might go back for a Masters or any other post graduate course that tickles my fancy...
So I just got my tattoo… ;)
Okay so training was awesome but I’m dead. I had an asthma attack because I was determined to keep up with the fastest runner and I finished second near death but that’s all that matters to me. And this was at the beginning. So excuse me while I just go and die because I’m too competitive and health takes second place to life.

Today is rep sport day (I work at a sports selective high school) and I had to go to cricket for two classes. Boys Year 11 and 12 cricket. Big boys whacking hard cricket balls. I think many crazy thoughts but one is always about survival. Like if this storm starts to wipe us out I think of how I could survive it. I would definitely need a wet suit and a body board and swimming fins and I would paddle around and be warm and cosy and if a tsunami or huge wave came I could just ride it with my board and I would never die.
